About

I grew up in Bridgeport, CT with two immigrant parents: my mother from St. Lucia and my father from Jamaica. As a child, I loved reading, listening to bedtime stories, watching cartoons, and playing video games with my older brother. I was also influenced by my older sister's passion for tap and ballet dance, which led me to take dance classes and eventually become a professional dancer.

I graduated from Fordham University in 2024 with a BA in New Media and Digital Design, specializing in Art, Text, and Design. I currently work part-time as a Development Consultant for The Child & Family Guidance Center and as a dance teacher throughout Connecticut. Additionally, I am involved in freelance projects, including book editing and design, creating logos and branding for dance companies, and pursuing other personal projects.

My experiences in New York City and the influence of dance, as well as my involvement in the design community at Fordham, have sparked a growing interest in design. Perusing dance magazines, seeing performances across the city, and being a part of the design community at Fordham have been some of my life’s most rewarding experiences.
